Sessions continued the SGP-EpIC tradition of highlighting cutting-edge research from early-stage investigators, junior faculty and postdocs, with 3 major foci:

• A Focus on Biophysics and Structural Biology

• Ion Channels in Diverse Physiology and Disease, and,

• Exotic channels and Emerging Techniques

With a key-note lecture from Prof Ryan Hibbs (UC San Diego)

Thr first SGP-EpIC Symposium was held in Feb 2026, at UC Davis, California.

The symposium welcomed researchers from around the world with interests in the latest advances at the forefront of ion channel research.
