The 2026 SGP-EpIC Symposium:

“Emerging Research on Ion Channels in Health and Disease”

Sessions continued the SGP-EpIC tradition of highlighting cutting-edge research from early-stage investigators, junior faculty and postdocs, with 3 major foci:

  • A Focus on Biophysics and Structural Biology

  • Ion Channels in Diverse Physiology and Disease, and,

  • Exotic channels and Emerging Techniques

With a key-note lecture from Prof Ryan Hibbs (UC San Diego)
